Alexa cannot find my smart devices.

AlertAlexa requires a remote access subscription.

If you have a remote access subscription, and Alexa is failing to control your smart devices, you should first check that the Skill is enabled within the Alexa mobile app.

Step One

Open the Alexa mobile application and
navigate to the "More" section along the
           bottom of the screen.

          Step Two

Navigate to the "Skills & Games" section
           of the Alexa mobile app.

          Step Three

Use the search bar located near the top of
the screen and search for "Home Assistant".

          Step Four

Select the "Home Assistant" skill from the list
           as shown in this image.

          Step Five

Enable the "Home Assistant" skill. This will
redirect you to a login page. The login
details can be acquired by contacting Luxeia.

If this Skill is already enabled, but your devices
are unresponsive, you should contact Luxeia.

After enabling the Skill you should see Alexa automatically starts scanning for the devices that are connected to your smart home. After a few minutes Alexa should have discovered your smart home devices, which you can now control through Alexa.
